I thought I would give everyone a fishing report..... The best news we got this weekend was that a captain that was out this weekend said that he found Strippers but not just in schools but by the hundreds and as far as he could see. It was just off he beach near Corolla lighthouse - that is in our backyard!!!!! It is wonderful to say that the Strippers are here in droves....... The weather has worked in our favor this winter. The limit in North Carolina is two per person, with a one per person limit in Virginia.

The fleet had a good weekend with 35-40lb Strippers caught and boats coming back with their limits. One boat that went off-shore, caught a 200lb Blue Marlin this weekend - what a Marlin is doing in these waters at this time of year is amazing or he is very confused!! I hope he is on his way down South to warmer waters where he belongs.
