Things are looking more and more like Spring is coming!! The fishing was OUTSTANDING this weekend, although Saturday's weather was not really good, Sunday was a good day to be out in the Gulf Stream.......

All the boats that went out caught some great fish. BLUE-FIN TUNA - all you could want. You can only keep one Blue-fin Tuna but catching 20 Blue-fin averaging 145lbs makes you feel challenged and very tired. One boat caught 20 weighing anything from 150lbs - 200lbs. The one Blue-fin that was brought to the dock weighed in at 197lbs.

The average between the fleets was 7.0 foot long and 145lbs. There were some Yellow-fin Tuna and scattered Dolphin caught around the large body of Blue-fin that is out there!!! COME AND GET SOME - IT'S SO MUCH FUN CATCHING THOSE BIG FISH!!!

The weather has been great - sunny and warm but the blustery wind out of the southwest causes the water temperatures to drop. Although, it was windy, a few boats were able to get out early on during the weekend and caught Yellowfin & Bluefin tuna in the Gulf Stream. Inshore there are a lot of Sharks being caught. Most of the boats are in the boat yard getting ready for the Spring fishing!!!! Things are warming up - so book your trip now!!!!

Boats were able to go fishing on Saturday before the weather moved in. There were several with limits of Strippers - yeh I said limits of Strippers!!!! The average weight was 35 - 47lbs with one weighing 51lbs. The biggest Stripper was about 60lb and was brought to the boat by a nine year old boy and then released.

Now we are dealing with another snow storm as with most of the East coast at the moment. We are even getting cabin fever and can't wait for Spring to get here. Book your trip today!!!
