We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. Fishing has been a mixed bag with both Yellow-fin Tuna and Stippers. The fleet has been split between going offshore for the remaining Tuna and inshore for the Strippers that have come down. The weather is shaping up to be a good Stripper Season. Limits of Tuna and Strippers were caught this weekend.

We were Stripper fishing on Friday and then had Steve Moon and his group for an offshore trip for Tuna on Saturday.

We are booking up for the Stripper Season - so get your dates booked with Capt. Dave.

The Strippers are here!!!!!
A sample of Strippers past.
We have gathered enough information from surf fisherman, net fisherman and a private boat that ventured out yesterday about some Ocean Rock all of them between 25 - 41lbs. Also several schools have been seen South of the VA/NC line.

It is certainly cold enough and everything is coming together for a GREAT Stripper Season!! We are looking at good weather the next couple days and boats will be venturing out - keep watching the blog for the latest updates.

Book your trip today - call Capt. Dave

We were able to get out in between the weather fronts. Another front is due to come in this afternoon, but it held off so that we could have a good day out with Chris Gilman and his group. His 96 year old grandfather (that is correct - not a typo) caught a couple of the 18 Tuna that we got today. We limited out and were back at the dock early this afternoon.

Come get some - THEY'RE BITING!!!

Don't forget that Stripper Season is just around the corner - book your trip soon to get the day you want..... Call Capt. Dave

Sorry that we did not post this last night but our internet was down. Sunday was a beautifully clear day with the water clearing up day by day after the big storm all last week. We did well with the water conditions that we had and more importantly, Steve Reineck and his group had a good day out on the water. They had a large group of people and had fun seeing their friends out on another boat in the fleet. The water was not as murky as it was and is improving each day. The Gulf Stream is coming together again after the big blow!!! Conditions are getting better and better......... COME GET SOME before the holidays! Tuna is good anytime of year!!!!!

Start thinking about the Stripper season that is just around the corner - it is supposed to shape up to a very cold winter - that means STRIPPER FISHING!!!!! Call Capt. Dave to book your day out.

We had a good day on the water today, with Andy Alexander and company from Maryland who fish with us regularly. The weather that we had this past week stirred up the water. We all had a slow start to the fishing this morning, but the fleet ended up picking out a good day with Yellow-fin, Black-fin and one Big Eye Tuna.

The weather finally broke so that all the boats went fishing - being a Saturday, so were a lot of outboards enjoying the beautiful day. The fleet had a good day fishing as they did yesterday with early morning bits of Yellow-fin and Black-fin Tuna. We left the dock behind schedule and got to the fishing ground just after the early bits, but still managed to have a good steady day with Yellow-fin Tuna and a King Mackerel. There were a couple of Mako sharks hooked - the charters has fun with them!!!
