Great days at Sea

We've had great days at sea the past couple of weeks. The fishing action has been all mixed up. Tunas, marlins, dolphins, lots of action. Pretty weather. We've been really busy. We hope you will come fishing with us in July or August or even for a late fall Tuna trip. Prime weekend days go fast. When you come down this year, go fishing. Call Capt. Dave.

HOT MARLIN ACTION ! ! !

The full moon of June will be rembered for the marlin action up and down the edge off the outer banks. In the past week several BIG blue marlin have been encountered by the fleet including a 711 pounder brought in by the Hog Wild Thursday and a fish that was released alive by the Free Spool today that was estimated as bigger. There was also a hot white marlin bite today further south than the big blues have been popping up. One boat today had seven bites from whites! July, August Moons? Who knows what could happen? Get ready. . .

By the way the tuna fishing has been good this week with several fish in the 40-60lb class. Lots of dolphin!!!

. . . this place is rockin'! . . .

It happens at least once a week, somebody asks me what the best time of the year to go fishing is and I always tell them The middle of May through late July. Pretty weather and generally good fishing with some absolutely spectacular fishing mixed in. Today was one of those incredible days.

Tuna, many in the 50+ lb class were in our waters in force and in great numbers. We saw them chasing flying fish, balling cigar minnows and crashing small bonitos. The ones in the picture above got into our baits and we filled our fish hold. They put on an awesome show and will fill these lucky anglers freezer for a while.

Yesterday there were less tuna but more dolphins. You just never know, Jason and his crew had a super fun day catching a limit of dolphins a handful of tuna. We also got a bite out of a really big blue marlin late in the day. He pulled the hook. It was still quite a sight to see the bite. You just never know what you might catch.

The fishing should hold on for a while, the bait is here, the water is here, We just need you and your crew.

July is shaping up to bring great fishing, Tunas, Marlins and Mahi-mahi. Book a day soon, while they are still some available. FISH HIGH RETURN

Awesome Action.

We have had some great days at sea the last week. Not only has the weather and the fishing been great but the sealife has been abundant around us in the ocean . We've been seeing acres of porpoises and big herds of whales. The picture of the two big-eye tuna is from Tuesday, one went 177 lbs and the other 156lbs. Trophy fish of a lifetime! We also had a 162 lb'er on Monday! We have been catching yellowfins in the 25-70 lb range. The past week has also been spiced up with a few packs of ravenous gaffer dolphins(aka big Mahi-mahi) and a sailfish. Great conditions in the ocean this summer. WE HAVE A FEW DAYS OPEN IN JULY!! BOOK YOUR DAY SOON!!
